Raleigh, NC (Betting Express) - The second round of The Rex Hospital Open was completely washed out on Friday. Action never got underway as heavy rain enveloped the Raleigh area.

The second round will tee off Saturday morning at 7:15 a.m. (et). The final 36 holes of action are slated to be contested on Sunday.

Craig Bowden opened with an eight-under-par 63 to grab a four-stroke lead after the first round. Bowden's 63 was one stroke off the course record.

Doug Garwood, Robert Garrigus and Jason Caron share second place after each carded rounds of four-under-par 67 on the TPC at Wakefield Plantation.

Jeff Quinney and Cliff Kresge both shot three-under-par 68. They share fifth place with Roger Tambellini, Tjaart van der Walt, Ryan Armour, Chad Collins, Mike Heinen, Brian Henninger and Troy Matteson.
