Cleveland, OH (Betting Express) - Chicago White Sox outfielder Carl Everett was forced to leave Thursday's game in Cleveland after suffering an injury to his left shoulder. Everett sustained the injury in the bottom of the first inning while trying to run down a drive by Ben Broussard. Everett attempted to chase down Broussard's shot to deep left field, but couldn't catch up to it and ran into the wall. Two runs scored on what was ruled a triple by Broussard. The 33-year-old Everett, who drove in a run with a sac fly in the top of the first, is hitting .367 with a homer and nine RBI in nine games this season.
