St. Petersburg, FL (Betting Express) - The Tampa Bay Devil Rays released infielder Geoff Blum, pitcher Jeremi Gonzalez and infielder/outfielder Damian Rolls on Friday. The 31-year-old Blum hit .215 with eight home runs and 35 RBI in 112 games in 2004, his lone season with the Rays. He started 40 games at both second and third base and also saw playing time at first base, shortstop and left field. Gonzalez, 29, split the season between the Devil Rays and Triple-A Durham. The righthander was 0-5 with a 6.97 ERA in 11 games, including eight starts, for the Rays. Rolls, 27, also split the season between Tampa Bay and Durham. He appeared in 53 games for the Devil Rays, batting .162 with no home runs and nine RBI.
