Denver, CO (Betting Express) - Denver Nuggets star forward Carmelo Anthony suffered a probable nondisplaced third metacarpal fracture on his right hand in the third quarter of Monday's 135-115 win over Indiana. Postgame x-rays revealed the injury and Anthony will see a hand specialist Tuesday and his status will be determined afterwards. Anthony provided 21 points, nine assists and six rebounds in the game and is averaging 21.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game this season. The Nuggets are in first place in the Northwest Division, three games clear of Portland.
