East Rutherford, NJ (Betting Express) - Vince Carter scored 29 points, grabbed nine rebounds and doled out seven assists as the Nets beat the Kings, 98-90, at the IZOD Center to hand Sacramento its 11th consecutive road loss.

Yi Jianlian added 22 points, 13 boards and a couple of huge blocks late in the game for the Nets, who have won two of three. Jarvis Hayes chipped in 12 points in the win.

Devin Harris left the game for New Jersey late in the first half after aggravating his strained right hamstring. Harris originally suffered the injury in Friday's win over the Hawks and sat out Saturday's game at Miami. He had four points and seven helpers in 18 1/2 minutes.

Kevin Martin poured in a game-best 36 points for the Kings, who have dropped three in a row and nine of their last 10 games overall. Brad Miller added eight points, seven rebounds and eight assists in defeat.

Down by a point late in the game, Hayes' three-pointer followed by Carter's one-handed dunk and subsequent three gave the Nets an 89-82 advantage with just under four minutes left.

Martin then missed a jumper at the other end leading to a 1-of-2 performance at the foul line from Yi and Brook Lopez, which gave the Nets a 91-82 lead.

Two jumpers by Martin brought Sacramento within six points, but New Jersey pulled away late to secure the victory.

The Nets jumped out to a 23-18 lead after the first quarter, however the Kings assumed a 55-43 lead heading into the intermission.

Yi's jumper and two free throws pulled the Nets within 66-59 with 6:42 left in the third stanza.

Carter's jumper brought the home team within 74-72, which is how the clubs headed into the final 12 minutes.

A pair of free throws from Carter tied the game at 76 with 10:52 left in the contest and Hayes' reverse layup gave New Jersey a two-point lead moments later.

The teams traded baskets and the lead seesawed before Yi's long-range jumper gave the hosts an 81-80 lead right around the midway point.
