=== Dallas Stars Team Report - March 8 ===

(Betting Express) - Marty Turco made 22 saves to earn his seventh shutout of the season and lead Dallas to a 4-0 win over San Jose at American Airlines Center.

Pierre Turgeon finished with a goal and an assist for the Stars, who extended their franchise-record home unbeaten streak to 14 games (11-0-3) and earn their fifth straight victory overall.

Jon Klemm, Rob DiMaio and Shayne Corson also scored for Dallas, which is unbeaten in its last nine overall (8-0-1). Stu Barnes finished with three assists.

The Stars, with 81 points, are fifth in the Western Conference standings -- three behind Vancouver. Dallas is five points up on Calgary and Nashville.

The Stars, who have won three straight and eight of the last nine in the series, capped their season-long eight game homestand 7-0-1.

Dallas has scored in its last 15 periods, including overtimes.

The Stars, who are only two points behind San Jose in the Pacific Division race, will open a four-game road trip Tuesday in Pittsburgh. They will also visit Philadelphia, Detroit and Chicago on the venture.
