Minneapolis, MN (Betting Express) - Seimone Augustus scored 18 points and Candice Wiggins added 17 to lead the Minnesota Lynx to a 90-78 win over the San Antonio Silver Stars.

Wiggins went 13-of-14 at the free throw line for the Lynx, who have opened the season with six wins in seven games. Charde Houston chipped in with 15 points, and Noelle Quinn made 3-of-4 from three-point range on her way to 11 points.

Ann Wauters notched a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Silver Stars, losers in three of their last four. Becky Hammon added 14 points, but was just 3-for-16 from the floor, while Erin Buescher contributed 10 points.

Trailing by one after the first quarter, the Lynx opened up a 41-35 lead by halftime and held San Antonio at bay for the final two quarters, thanks largely to a 28-for-32 performance at the charity stripe. Minnesota also benefited from 18 Silver Stars turnovers.
