Memphis, TN (Betting Express) - The Memphis Grizzlies attempt to extend their franchise-record winning streak to nine games tonight as they welcome Zach Randolph and the Portland Trail Blazers to The Pyramid.

This is the third meeting of the season between the two squads. Both teams have won once on its home court. The clubs were supposed to have met on January 6, 2004 at Portland, but the game was postponed because of poor weather in conditions and is scheduled to be made-up on March 3rd.

The Grizzlies continue their six-game homestand tonight. On Sunday, Bonzi Wells scored 17 points and Pau Gasol added 15, as the Grizzlies extended their winning streak to eight games with a 106-88 victory over the Denver Nuggets at The Pyramid.

Memphis, which has also won a franchise-record seven straight at home, have won a team record 10 games in a month.

The Grizzlies (25-18) are already within three wins of tying the team mark for most victories in an entire season. Memphis is seven games above .500 for the first time in team history.

Forward Shane Battier sat out Sunday's game with a rib injury and is day-to- day.

Memphis is an impressive 16-5 at home this season.

On Monday, Damon Stoudamire recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 assists in leading the Trail Blazers to a 94-83 victory over the Washington Wizards at the MCI Center. All 18 of Stoudamire's points came on 6-of-8 shooting from three-point range, as the Blazers won on the road for just the fourth time in 20 tries this season.

Randolph and Rasheed Wallace each scored 16 points in the win, as Portland also improved to 7-0 all-time at the MCI Center. Wesley Person came off the bench to post 12 points, while Derek Anderson and Darius Miles chipped in 10 each.

The Blazers have won two straight on the road.

The Grizzlies have won two of the last three contests with the Blazers. These two teams have split the last six meetings at the Grizzlies.
