Cincinnati, OH (Betting Express) - The Cincinnati Bengals acquired former Lions defensive tackle Shaun Rogers Friday, sending third- and fifth-round picks to Detroit in return. Rogers, 29, is considered a dominant run-stuffer, having recorded 39 tackles and seven sacks for the Lions in 2007. The 6-foot-4, 340-pounder played in all 16 games a year ago for the first time since 2004, and also scored the first touchdown of his career on a 66-yard interception return. In seven NFL seasons, Rogers has totaled 353 tackles, 29 sacks and 21 passes defended. The Texas product is due $4.25 million in 2008, $5.25 million in 2009 and $7 million in 2010.
