Jacksonville, FL (Betting Express) - The Jacksonville Jaguars acquired their second wide receiver of the day Friday, inking former Raiders pass-catcher Jerry Porter. The deal is for $30 million over six years with $10 million guaranteed, according to the NFL Network. Porter, 29, had 44 catches for 705 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games last season for Oakland. Originally a second-round pick from West Virginia in 2000, Porter has 284 receptions for 3,939 yards and 30 touchdowns in eight seasons with the Raiders. Earlier Friday, the Jaguars acquired wide receiver Troy Williamson from the Minnesota Vikings for an undisclosed draft pick. "We're excited to have added Troy Williamson in a trade and Jerry Porter in the start of free agency here," said Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio about today's transactions. "I'm very excited about adding Jerry. I think hes an outstanding football player. There were a couple guys that we thought we would take an opportunity at in free agency and he was at the top of the list for us. I really think it was a great fit for us. He's an explosive player. He's had some big years. We think his best football is still ahead of him and we're very excited to have him." The Jaguars finished 11-5 last season and beat Pittsburgh in the first round of the playoffs.
