Edmonton, AB (Betting Express) - Edmonton Oilers center Shawn Horcoff will have surgery on his left shoulder later this week and will be out for the remainder of the season. Horcoff has been bothered with a shoulder injury all season and re-injured his shoulder at the 2008 NHL All-Star Game in Atlanta on January 27. He played in Edmonton's first game following the All-Star break, but missed the last game against the Dallas Stars on February 1. In 53 games this season, Horcoff leads the Oilers with 21 goals and 50 points. |
