Atlanta, GA (Betting Express) - Jailed Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick will not have to repay $20 million in bonus money he received from the team. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported U.S. District Judge David Doty of Minneapolis overturned a previous ruling by an arbitrator, who said Vick had to repay the money. Doty ruled that forcing the suspended signal caller to give the money back to the Falcons would violate the NFL's collective bargaining agreement. The NFL CBA states signing bonuses cannot be forfeited for years a player has already performed. Vick, who received a 23-month jail sentence after pleading guilty to federal dogfighting charges, was suspended indefinitely by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
