Anaheim, CA (Betting Express) - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent center Vaclav Prospal on a five-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Prospal was Tampa Bay's leading scorer last season with a career-high 79 points, posting 22 goals and 57 assists in 80 games. He also notched four goals and two assists in 11 playoff games, as the Lightning reached the second round of the post-season for the first time in club history. The 28-year-old native of the Czech Republic has 88 goals and 294 points in 467 NHL games with Philadelphia, Ottawa, Florida and Tampa Bay. Prospal was a third-round pick of the Flyers in 1993 and first reached the NHL during the 1996-97 campaign. The Ducks lost their leading scorer from a year ago to free agency, as long- time Anaheim star Paul Kariya signed with Colorado.
