Scottsdale, AZ (Betting Express) - Phoenix Coyotes No. 1 goaltender Sean Burke is expected to be sidelined four weeks with a high ankle sprain. Burke suffered the injury midway through the first period of Tuesday's 2-1 win over Nashville when he turned his left ankle in the crease. Coyotes backup netminder Brian Boucher stepped in for Burke and stopped 26 of the 27 shots he faced to earn the win. Burke is 1-3 with a 3.13 goals-against-average in five games this season. The 35-year-old Burke set career marks with 33 wins, a 2.29 goals against average and five shutouts last season. He finished last year as a finalist for both the Vezina Trophy, which is awarded to the NHL's outstanding goaltender, and the Lester B. Pearson Award, which goes to the NHL's most outstanding player as voted by the players. The Coyotes also recalled goaltender Patrick DesRochers from Springfield of the AHL to help Boucher fill in for Burke.
