France to prepare for World Cup with four warm-up matches

Paris, France (Betting Express) - In preparation for the 2006 World Cup, France announced Wednesday it would play in four warm-up matches before the tournament.

The first match will take place march 1st against Slovakia. Three other matches will follow, and are scheduled for the end of May and into June.

France was drawn into Group G during Friday's final draw. The team meets Switzerland for the first match on June 13th. Group G also includes Korea Republic and Togo.

Following the warm-up matches, the team will travel to German headquarters in Aerzen bei Hameln for the World Cup.
