| Bronx, NY (BettingExpress) - The AL East-champion New York Yankees seek their fourth straight win when they open a four-game series against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays tonight in the Bronx. On Sunday, Rondell White was 3-for-4 with two RBI as the Yankees defeated the Detroit Tigers, 4-3, to sweep the three-game series at Comerica Park. New York, which won its 11th division title since the inception of divisional play in 1969 on Saturday, has won 14 of its last 19. David Wells (18-7) pitched eight innings for the win. |
