Dolphins at full health for start of camp Headlines 07/30/2010

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall has been cleared to participate full-speed at the start of the Miami Dolphins' training camp.

Also given full clearance were running backs Ronnie Brown and Patrick Cobbs, quarterback Chad Pennington and cornerback Will Allen, all returning from operations necessitated by season-ending injuries in 2009.

Shortly before the first practice Friday, coach Tony Sparano said his team is at full health.

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -Defensive end Charles Grant has signed with the Miami Dolphins.

Grant spent his entire career with the New Orleans Saints before joining the Dolphins for the start of training camp Friday. He started all 16 games for the Saints last season and had 5 1/2 sacks.

The 31-year-old Grant has 106 career starts and 47 sacks.

MIAMI (AP) -Former Miami Dolphins star Mercury Morris is suing the NFL Retirement Board, alleging he's being underpaid $3,000 a month in benefits.

The lawsuit, filed Thursday in Miami's federal court, claims Morris is receiving $3,100 a month when he should be getting twice that amount. He's also seeking $91,000 in back pay.

Morris won a settlement with the board in 1991 for $250,000 in disability claims.
